This is a gathering of the most common SFIC construction core keys, with Lime Green being the most popular of all. Many of these are keyed alike, with the only difference between them being the keyway profiles. For each colored designation of SFIC core, two keys exist: one Operating key to turn the lock and one Control key to remove the lock.
PLEASE NOTE WHICH VARIANT OF THIS PRODUCT YOU ARE ORDERING... MANY CUSTOMERS OPT TO ONLY PURCHASE OPERATING KEYS, WHILE OTHER TEAMS ELECT TO PURCHASE THE "FULL" SET WHICH ALSO INCLUDES CONTROL KEYS. THE DIFFERENCE IN THESE SETS IS REFLECTED IN THE DIFFERENCE IN THEIR PRICE.
Keys come stamped with their color designation. Keys are as follows:
- Green: A keyway
- Orange: A keyway
- Brown: J keyway
- Pink/Red: FM keyway (this key operates two colors of construction core -- Pink and Red -- as they share the same bittings but those keys are officially produed on A and L blanks, respectively. The FM blank used here will pass into both of those keyway profiles)
- Multi: FM keyway (this fields the rest of the popular colours -- Blue, Black, Purple, Yellow, White, and Brown -- as they all share bittings but those keys are officially produed on A, E, F, G, H, and J blanks, respectively. The FM blank used here will pass into each of those keyway profiles although it is sometime difficult to use in certain J cylinders which is why the Brown keys are also included separately)
